Dan Gilbert's Early Designs for Cleveland Casino Show LeBron Billboard

Posted by Vince Grzegorek on Mon, Nov 22, 2010 at 9:23 AM

A video obtained through a public records request by the Plain Dealer shows early designs for Cleveland's new casino. The video was shown to the Ohio EPA and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in a meeting on October 21 because Dan Gilbert wants to narrow the Cuyahoga River "to give the casino an extra 29 feet of space along 686 feet of bulkhead," according to the PD.

As the presentation shows the casino, it also shows downtown Cleveland, including... yes... the LeBron billboard. That has to sting every time Dan Gilbert watches it.

Here's the screenshot. Video below that.

when is this video from? That's the old billboard from either his rookie year or second year.

That's not all. One video board on the casino show LeBron doing the hand clap thing and the other scrolls "we are all witnesses." Not sure if they are poking fun or if it was the worst oversight ever. If so, somebody probably got fired.
