Burning River Roller Girls
If you thought roller derby was dead, you were wrong. The lovable sport -- wherein tightly clothed women skate in circles, pummeling each other for position -- is making a comeback nationwide. In Cleveland, local bad-ass Natalie Terry has organized the Burning River Roller Girls, an upstart league with (so far) four teams of 15-plus girls. Though details aren't finalized, look for exhibition bouts to start popping up at a rink near you. Terry promises that "there will be fishnets, and there will be blood."
