Re: “Woodsy's Music

Customer service is horrible! The techs have attitude problems. It's too bad had the customer service been acceptable I would have kept going back. I won't ever go back. I even contacted them about my experience they ignored it. Most businesses who want to keep them coming back will almost automatically contact the customer if there is a discrepency. Not them? They would rather ignore customer satisfaction.

Re: “Squire's Castle

Squire's Castle is across the street from where I live in Willoughby Hills on the East side of Cleveland. Why is the address listed as Brooklyn on the South side?

Re: “Just U Relax

RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. The person with whom I spoke stated that no same day openings were EVER available because they were SUCH A GREAT PLACE and no one ever cancelled???. While trying to negotiate an available day in the following weeks - she was alternately rude and patronizing. I am a busy professional trying to get a massage, not beg for meeting with the president of the USA. I indicated I would have to call back to schedule something in the future. She then stated for me to not bother and Hung upon me. I am always polite and never raise my voice or say things I would not repeat in public to anyone. I assumed I had just gotten a disgruntled employee- so I called back and asked for the manager. This person stated she was the manager and stated that they did not need my business and hung up on me for the second time. As this was a 3 session $89.00 groupon, I called groupon directly, who apologized and refunded my money with no problems. Thank you groupon. I would stay away from this place. They obviously are not doing so well if their managers do not understand customer service and they do not have enough staff to answer phones.

Re: “West Side Market

If you're from Cleveland and you're not familiar with the West Side Market, you should be ashamed of yourself. To put it briefly, this place has absolutely everything. Whether you want fresh produce, meat, or a huge gyro, the West Side Market has it all to make it a one-stop shop. This is definitely part of Cleveland that everyone should experience.

Re: “Cory Recreation Center

Sista Jewel is the best at what she does!! Not only has she taught her three daughters the art of African Dance but, she has also taught a group of children belonging to Peace in the Hood's Peace Camp, as well as my two daughters (ages 6 and 11), at no charge! Now THAT is love and dedication to what she does... Not only is she patient and highly talented but, she also has very high energy and is captivating to watch. I am excited to part of such a rewarding session from a Master! Thanks Mama Jewel!

Re: “Princess Ledges Nature Preserve

I read the following in your statement about Princess Ledges Nature Reserve: "The park district has been acquiring land for this nature preserve since 1973. The name given to the area comes from one of the previous owners of the property. His daughter, named Princess, liked to play on the sandstone ledges, thus the name "Princess Ledges." These beautiful ledges become a fascinating sight in the winter as ice forms from springs flowing from the rock formations."

My father, Herbert G. MacPherson, once owned "Princes Ledges," which I named. Part of your statement is incorrect; I have had several names over the years (owing to two marriages and one nickname), but Princess was not one of them. My name at that time was Lynne MacPherson.

It is true that my parents treated me like a princess, though. I had a happy childhood.

My dad was born on a ranch in Apple Valley, California. He had wanted to become a rancher, but his family's experience with unpredictable weather convinced him that his future would be more secure if he went to a university and become a scientist instead. However, when we lived in Lakewood, the closely packed neighborhood made him nostalgic for open spaces. So, in 1954, we searched all over the countryside south of Lakewood, and finally found a wooded hillside of four and a half acres with magical sandstone outcroppings.

My mother named our land Sylvan Ledges. I had pet names for the different ledges, and chose Princess Ledges for the largest. Obviously, Mother's maturity provided her with a more sophisticated vocabulary than I could muster when I was twelve.

For two years, our family made weekly trips to the Ledges for picnics, camping trips, or just afternoon excursions. Then we moved to Tennessee, where our parents lived until they died in the '90's. Now my brother is a professor in Princeton, New Jersey, and I live 35 miles from the 3,000 foot cliffs surrounding Yosemite Valley, California. It's pretty clear where I developed a love for cliffs.

I am proud that our father decided to donate this special property for the benefit of others. He was ahead of his time; now we have conservation easements and conservancies popping up all over in an attempt to maintain some open land.

I can imagine new generations of children spending time on the wooded paths of my childhood, climbing the rocks, listening to the springs, and confiding in their friends as they sit on fallen logs. For the good of his soul, everyone needs some time to commune with nature.

Thanks for making this possible by caring for this special place.

Re: “Ohio Brewing Company

The brewer (Chris Verich) will be out of business very soon. This is his second pub and he will run it into the ground like his first one in Warren. He has no business sense and never pays his employees or bills on time.

Re: “Bellefaire JCB

There needs a law that prevents them from doing this. If they want children so bad then do it the natural way
