Re: “The Kent Stage

The Kent Stage rules all. Dark Side of the Moon was phenomenal and a big part was the venue. I had a great time and the help was great I loved it.

Re: “El Tango Taqueria

I have not been here but have heard NOTHING but horror stories from anyone who's gone. Average wait for food after order is placed is nearly an hour - and don't you dare inquire about the wait or the owner will pretty much tear your head off. Another person brought their own low-fat salad dressing because there was none there, and the owner told them they couldn't bring it in the restaurant. No food is good enough for you to get treated like that. You want good Mexican? El Jalapeno's is two miles away.

As a performer great live venue...lots of nice people and staff. Akron loves good music, so if you play there "bring it"!

Re: “Markko Vineyard

This is the real deal. If you want a sweet glass of strawberry wine and to leave with a $10 bottle, this is not the place. Instead, you will find an estate wine grower, an expert in his field, who makes quality wine and takes pride in his trade. His tasting room is not modern, but his passion genuine. Go meet Arnie at the vines, Linda at the tasting room, and Coco the shaggy greeter and leave with a greater appreciation for the craft of winemaking!

Has a great menu. Small concise. As the owner says its delicious. Problems are the biker chick bartenders and the smell of unclean drains. I'm not sure why anyone would spend their money there.

Re: “Z√≥calo Mexican Grill & Tequileria

We have several favorites restaurants in Cleveland, and this is at the top of the list. The best Mexican food anywhere. Love this restaurant and we go as often as possible. It's worth the drive from Columbus to eat here!

Re: “Rock City Tap House

I have to say that the Rock City Tap House ROCKS the food! I went there with a few people for a quick beer and found myself getting a great burger...I then returned several times later and got everything from pasta, steak, and seafood too! This place has 'regular' bar food as well as great food that you would get from any restaurant! Love it!

Re: “Gallucci's Italian Foods

Be very careful when you buy prosciutto here. I was told by the deli manager that Ray does not allow them to trim the excess fat off so your product maybe just fat. Inspect the product to make sure it of the quality you expect. Many times I have taken the product home. only to find it is too fatty to serve or the meat is not layered on tissue properly and you can't separate the slices.

The bakery is generally very good, but make sure you have the time to wait for service. They people in the bakery move at their speed and have no sense of urgency. The Gallucci brand olive oil is the best for the price. I highly recommend it for dipping.Especially at the price. The peperoncini is mediocre at best. It generally too soft without any crunch. I have found that Bell View is a superior product to what Gallucci carries.

In general other than the olive oil Gallucci's is no longer worth the drive. All of products can be found closer to home at about the same price.

Re: “Peabody's

Just wanted to say that I'm Glad to see that Peabody's is still alive & well in the Flats of Cleveland., We moved out of state & the last time we came to Cleveland, it looked as if they destroyed the Flats & all its great night clubs. Who can forget the "cattle-run"? Those were the good old days & its great to see that Peabody's is standing it's ground & staying in the Flats. Used to Love the Lunch time concerts, when you were never sure who was actually going to show & play. Next time in Cleveland, hopefully soon, We'll have to take a night out & go check out what's left of the Flats & of course, like we used to, end up @ Peabody's. Keep up the FUN
