Re: “Best Male Comedian

Honorable mention could go to ESPN Cleveland's daily parody of mature, accurate and interesting sports talk.

Re: “Best Local Author/Writer

Well said! Ms. Schultz and Senator Brown are among the many reasons I'm proud to be from Ohio. I read her Facebook posts nearly every day.

Re: “Best Local Author/Writer

Congratulations, Connie. You are without doubt the BEST. And you and Sherrod are indeed the best power couple in the country.

BTW, I won this Scene award in 2014. They threw a fun party on West 25th Street for that one.

Love and admiration, as always,

Re: “Best New Attraction

SV's following a trajectory different than any other Cle neighborhood, but there's too many actors--from old guard grps to hipster startups--making too many things happen to call it anything other than a revival.

Re: “Best Outdoor Arts Experience

Some people may notice a slight difference between a theatre company with a shoestring budget and one with a multi-million dollar operating budget.

Not Scene magazine.

Re: “Best Promoter

Re: “Best Music Venue

House of Blues is a beautiful venue, i think maybe the Grog Shop would have benefited from this more though?

Re: “Best Art Gallery

John is right. The art gallery category is pathetic. Even if the "public" decided that these places and events are galleries, I would hope that a magazine like Scene would choose to represent "Cleveland's Best" by elevating the general public's idea of a gallery.

What might be nice is an actual review of commercial galleries, non profit galleries, frame shop galleries, and art centers to help people, including artists, distinguish between them.
