Good music never dies!
Maybe he didn't. AS for the girlfriend video wasn't there a story about that and people inflating the views. I also read a story on her fans inflating votes on other things too. All in all i think the record sales were inflated too by her fans. We all heard the inflated most requested song story involving her in the beginning. I just don't trust open source poles anymore. I look at it like this that her fans were young like her and had all this free time to inflate votes on anything she was in, they had money to buy multi records and stuff. i mean 3 million fans buy 5 records each and you have 15 million sales right, now that her hard core fans are older and have to pay bills and don't have a teens free time with work and all her votes and whatever has gone down.
I've been hearing " Getting Even " on 88.7 I really liked the lyrics and the guitar riffs are fantastic, keep up the heat work
These cats are talented!
Success to you on Saturday! Kathy- Ann Arbor
To Larry Website. You have no idea what you are talking about. You are just a hater.
ALL HAIL NIGHT DEMON!!! CLEVELAND AWAITS YOUR RETURN!!!!
are you guys seriously so hard up for local bands to cover that you have to cover awful cock rock from california and try to tie in some spurious Cleveland connection? there's plenty of great music in this city that you seem hellbent on ignoring.
I started to follow the band because of how easy it is to move your feet. Police state was a College Party waiting to happen, it had Funk, rap, hip hop, reggae, rock, New Orlean jazz with the horns, yet it was the same band The Energy the band puts out feeds the Fans. As we dance and Sing, Yes Sing everyone knows all the words THey have a Niche in the Market 18 to 30 that those kids explode to. Can't wait to hear the New album. DANCE SING Love them
It was an absolute blast to work with them in studio and their live show is truly an experience you don't want to miss! Tropidelic isn't going down with the ship but rising on high tides!
Bobby Chronic ROCKS!
Simply the best. If you have seen them you need to! Much love Trop!
It's amazing that this is someone's job to research this and they are so incredibly out of touch with Cleveland's music scene. These bands are not the 10 most up and coming Cleveland bands. They just aren't. If this writer attended local shows, they would know. Just because general people, with general interests, will pay to stand around and watch a generally appealing band, doesn't mean it's representational of Cleveland's scene. It's almost offending.
This boring ass new Cleveland "alt rock" can take a hike. It reminds me of something that would play in an American eagle store.
Miss Melvis and Duo Decibel System?
I had never heard of any of these artists except for Ray Flannegan and the Authorities and Listen Little Man, which are legit choices. I gave each artist I never heard of at least a 2 song sample and personally thought almost none of it was any good.
I'm really tired of this all-pervasive formulaic indie-rock and indie-folk stuff that is very pop-sensitive, sometimes retro obsessed, and incredibly slick and non-threatening. It lacks any creative edge and doesn't rock. Quite a few of these artists seem to fall into that mold, otherwise I heard some pop-punk and a bit of rather insufferable garage rock.
Surprisingly, I found the one mentioned last (Marcus Alan Ward) to be the only one with some creative edge aside from Ray and Xela.
Where the heck is Brian Lisik and the Unfortunates? I'm sure this must have been an oversight. There is no way, after the album Curtis Interruptedus they aren't on this list.
The Rocksino really needs to let this fine musician and his band play the full 3 hour set, as all other venues on this tour have honored. Otherwise , there will likely be a lot of disgruntled fans and ticket buyers who paid top dollar to experience this unique performance. NOT GOOD BUSINESS!
