Re: “The Modfather: Former the Jam/Style Council Frontman Paul Weller Continues to be Forward-thinking

So jealous that you got to interview him! I interned at Scene last summer and would have loved to talk to The Modfather himself! Good to hear that he's still going strong.

Re: “Not Just a One-Hit Wonder: Del Amitri's Justin Currie Plans to Dig Deep into his Catalog for Cleveland Show

Yes Peanuts. I was at that show and got to share a swig or two of Jamesons with the band. That's about all I remember.

And ironically he is appearing at the venue where Del Amitri first appeared in Cleveland, when it was called Shooter's Live. The Gin Blossoms opened that night. Heck of a double bill.

Re: “Afghan Whigs Frontman Greg Dulli Talks about the Inspiration for the Band's New Album

I loved the show last night. One day is wish I could hear my curse with the Scrawl vocalist . My only complaint is the venue. I hate HOB. Who does their sound? It was so loud the instruments were muddled. However, I would go see Greg Dulli play in a bathroom at a BP if I had too

Re: “Back to the Future: The Retro Futura tour revisits ‘80s synth-pop with acts like Tom Bailey and Howard Jones

I went to this show at the last minute and was VERY impressed. Sad to say me and 499 others watched Thomas Bailey (of the Thompson Twins) play live for the 5th time since 1986. They were the highlight with Howard Jones having a strong set also. Best $18 I've spent in quite awhile. By the way the show started at 8pm. and didn't end till 11:50pm...Nice bang for my buck!

Re: “Out of This World: Hawkwind's Nik Turner Talks About Recreating the Band's Space Ritual Shows

There's always two sides to any story.
Especially this one. Nobody has thus proved anything, here or on any article on Google, Facebook or YouTube.. So until I hear both sides from Dave & Nik (in person) or from a reliable source, not fans, I won't believe everything I read or hear.. 100%! So far, I've only read Nik's side of the story & seen interviews on YouTube, still I'm not sure if he's being completely honest, who knows.
I do believe things I've heard Lemmy say, e.g how he was treated unfairly when sacked, but it's been said that Lem he was unreliable.. Like I said, there's always sides of the story, so therefore, I chose to be open to all their music, if it so appeals to me, which "Space Gypsy" does & that's my own taste, in which I have the right to choose. I don't take sides.. Peace

Wow, you do realize there are other acts on the schedule with as much if not more draw than Bailey and Jones? I agree that they are both great but personally I have a front row seat to see Midge Ure.

Looks like John Lithgow will be there as well.

Re: “Jenny Lewis' 'The Voyager' is Ultimately Uneven

If this seems like overposting, I generally publish when I've been assaulted, or when my privacy is ignored, or when my cats cry out in pain by some action of government. I've been assaulted thousands of times over the past decade now, I'm sure that estimate is accurate....the other day one of my cats was bleeding, hair missing from its back, and two of them actually have scabs on their back as a result of being shot with energy weaponry. According to one report this results from my publication of Ronald Reagan quotes and biographical facts, indisputable and in fact from wikipedia. The federal government of course has all the power in the world to stop it. My tooth was knocked out in increments, over a 2 year span by energy weaponry assaults, for stating and proving the crimes committed by the federal government, absolute torture, like having a tooth drilled without novocaine for several hours.
If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth, right? the Democrats' great accomplishment is producing the political equivalent of a Rodney King video, clearly demonstrating the lies of the right, the right Hilary Clinton correctly identified as a vast conspiracy. Confirm by examining Central District of California Cases, 01-4340, 03-9097, 08-5515, 10-5193, US Tax Court 12000-07L --though I think you want to view my US Tax Court Appeal to the 9th Circuit for a good account of their day to day assaults, a few month time slice indicative of a decade of assault, and more recently 9th Circuit case 11-56043.

Re: “Veteran Local Players Distinguish Blackgrass Baptism’s Debut

Thanks for the nice review. I'm really glad you liked the cd, but I should probably point out one thing. I didn't sing Willie Nelson. I wish I wrote and sang that one, but credit where credit is due, that was all Ant.

Greg Kells.

Re: “Blast from the Past: Skid Row Founder Explains Why the Band Reverted to the Hard Rock Sound of its Early Days

you absolutely have the right to your opinion. You're wrong, but you have the right to be wrong. I also have the right to my opinion, and in that opinion, you, Sir, are an idiot. Look, if what you like is Sebastian, go see him. He's out and about, doing one or two of the old songs. He's even written some new stuff on his own. But the rest of us like what's going on here and want to hear more of it.

Re: “Blast from the Past: Skid Row Founder Explains Why the Band Reverted to the Hard Rock Sound of its Early Days

There is only one singer for skid row and that is Sebastian Bach. Skid row will never be the same without him I have the right to my opinion.
