Re: “Prep Kitchen Cle Will Bring Entrepreneurial Cooperation to the West Bank of the Flats

Couldn't be more excited about this. Here's to hoping even better restaurants move into the city through this project. Let's eliminate big chain places.

Awesome stuff. Great respect for their passion for paying a living wage and staying authentic. I hope to see this continue as they expand.

North Collinwood please!!! This is the sort of business that could help take our Waterloo Arts District or E185th District to the next level!!

Re: “Around the World In a Cookie Tray

Living in Arizona for the past 13 yrs, one of the things I miss most is the ethnic bakeries that I have left behind in the Cleveland area. Here in the Phoenix area, there are only a few good bakeries. Cleveland is still rich with ethnic heritage.

Re: “Lake Erie Creamery Marks a Decade of Ohio-made Artisan Cheese

Jeremy, Astoria Foods is set to open next week. They are located at W. 54th and Detroit. It will be a combination grocery store/cafe/bar.

Re: “For Local Cider, Look No Further Than Redhead Ciderhouse

I hate the phrase "look no further." Like I'm supposed to find this place and suddenly Griffin Cider House, one of the best cider producers in the state, doesn't exist?

Re: “For Local Cider, Look No Further Than Redhead Ciderhouse

No offense, but this isn't really "local". It's practically Sandusky. If you want good cider, go to Griffin Cider House in Lakewood. Now that's local. Brewed in Westlake.

Re: “Merchant Street Provisions Gets Lay of the Land in Tremont

This writer needs to proofread better. She called the business the wrong name, twice.

Re: “Lake Erie Creamery Marks a Decade of Ohio-made Artisan Cheese

Also, what is the aforementioned Astoria Foods? I did a Google search and didn't find anything.

Re: “The 5 Dishes That Made Me: Johnny Schulze, Chef at Bourbon Street Barrel Room and Owner of Zydeco Bistro

I eat here all the time. Its by far the best restaurant to eat at in Cleveland. The staff works hard and fast and the food is out of this world. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good time and great eats!!!
