Re: “The 20 Essential Cleveland Bars

Scene magazine. Thanks again for being grossly irelivent and misinformed. You got a few right but you certainly included a few that made you seem like a touristij. City whose name you claim. Have fun at town hall and hoffbrauhaus. Shitheads.

Re: “The 20 Essential Cleveland Bars

And we wonder why Cleveland is ranked the #1 segregated city in America...thanks for helping us maintain our status and not contributing to our change.

Re: “First Look: West Coast Living Inspires Gordon Square's New Cold-Pressed Juice Café, Daily Press

I was just visiting Daily Press today!! The apple cider and vegan cookie were perfect and both the bottles of juice I brought home are AMAZING! So happy for this new addition to the Cleveland food scene!

Re: “Liquid Gold: BottleHouse Brewery in Cleveland Heights is the City's First Full-Fledged Meadery, but the Brewers Say there's Room for Competition

They've got to get better at brewing. Their beer is not good. Love the space and the crowd, but I have yet to have something tasty from their taps. I suspect extracts in the brewing.

Re: “Q & A: Diane Sikorski, aka the Pie Lady

I worked at Bakers Square for five years, so I am very familiar with their pies. Once you try a piece of pie from Humble Pie you will understand why people are willing to pay $23 for a pie. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Bakers Square cream pies are shipped in, and the fruit pies arrive frozen and are baked on site. I believe they come from Minnesota. I used to eat the filling and leave the crust. I eat every bite of Diane's pie crust. Her crusts are made with lard, butter, flour and water. Bakers Square probably uses preservatives to ensure they arrive fresh. I stand by my original statement. Best pies in Cleveland. Hands down.

Re: “Q & A: Diane Sikorski, aka the Pie Lady

What's so elitist about homemade pies? I'd much rather give $25 to a hard-working woman who makes delicious pies with her own hands (an AL resident no less) than to some multi-million dollar company who makes factory-made chemical pies with with an ingredient list that reads like the periodic table of elements...

I like cider, I love craft beer, but I just can't get too excited about mead. I don't know, maybe I haven't tried the right one.

Re: “Five Great Ohio Wineries to Visit

Buckeye Winery in Newark should be added. They have a huge selection of wines. Including fruit such as watermelon and dessert wines. Its perfect for someone such as myself who doesn't have the taste for wine; the fruit wines are amazing so I am now a wine drinker due to this winery. They also have many options for gifts.

Check out Candlelight Winery in Garrettsville! They just expanded their backyard to patio setting, and had a fabulous fundraising event to Rebuild Garrettsville! Fantastic wines!!!
