Re: “Historic Euclid Tavern is Closed, But with Asterisk

Hopefully the next tenant has success and this historic landmark can still be used.

Re: “Goldfish Saga Continues at Perry Plant

Oh, and ironically, these goldfish lived longer than the ones that I purchase from the pet store. Those usually die in a day or two.

Re: “Goldfish Saga Continues at Perry Plant

We really only have to be concerned if the goldfish come back to life due to the radiation. If they stay dead, no problem!

Re: “Review: Star Trek: Into Darkness

Heard great things about this one, just haven't been to the theater yet to see it because I don't want to deal with all the crowds. But yeah, for sure I will be seeing this.

Re: “Colt McCoy's Pastor Catches a Bird With His Bare Hand

Too bad Colt McCoy never did cool things like that while wearing a Browns jersey.

Re: “Ariel Castro's Attorney: He's Not a 'Monster'

What a shocker, the guy who is getting money to defend this creep thinks he isn't a monster!

Oh, and maybe you don't think he was a monster because you talked to him for three hours, as opposed to being held prisoner and raped for a decade. Perspective, you ******* idiot, perspective.

Re: “TODAY: Angelo's Pizza to Donate Sales to Rescued Girls' Fund

This was a great idea, and I commend them for doing this. They had to be slammed, working like crazy to get all the orders out.

Re: “Constantly Amused

Playing that game roller coaster tycoon is a blast, because you get to live out the whole designing a roller coaster thing. But yeah, I would love to have this guy's job. All my coasters would probably bomb commercially, though, because they would be too awesome for people to handle!

Re: “Found Alive

It's an embarrassment to the community and the police that these girls were living in that house for that long and never successfully rescued until just now. Absolutely mind-blowing.

Re: “Goldfish Saga Continues at Perry Plant

It's inflammatory and irresponsible to compare goldfish to a bomb. I've worked in nuclear power for twenty years. We have security protocols to detect chemical residues, metals etc. You can't expect screening to detect two tiny pieces of meat. You could get them on a plane as well. They are not a security threat, they are an example of midguided and unprofessional behavior by a contract worker. I respect differing opinions on nuclear power and debate is always healthy....but the Union of Concerned "Scientists" lack credibility. They have an agenda and this is one more example of their willingness to use the media to scare people and manipulate the public's lack of education when it comes to nuclear power. For the record this is also NOT "amusing". The responsible party needs to be found and banned from the industry.

Re: “Historic Euclid Tavern is Closed, But with Asterisk

Did you even bother to talk to the previous owners? This story is completely biased. UCI forced the previous owners into selling for a fraction of the cost of the business with underhanded deals. UCI has done terrible things to the local businesses in the area, but you didn't bother to report on that side of the story. Losing the second oldest bar in Cleveland because the corporation next door wants to buy your building to make way for only corporate businesses (Jimmy Johns, Barnes & Noble, AT&T Store, etc.) and over-priced housing for students while reporting that all is well and good in the area is unacceptable.

Re: “Report: Pig Loose in Bay Village, Chasing Humans

Omg!!!! The I am the pigs owner! Yes the police reported that the pig "charged" the lady!! I had to laugh...the pig is more I interested in food that people. She is so domesticated that we have her litter box trained. I don't know who the lady is but I DO have that teardrop image in my head!! Lmfao. Ali (the 25 lb mini pig) wouldn't hurt a fly!!!!

Re: “Ariel Castro's Attorney: He's Not a 'Monster'

I can almost understand defending your client.. afterall the constitution guarantees you are innocent until proven guilty. althiough in this case that's a joke!.. but if Weintraub REALLY belives his client is not a monster, he should keep it to himself, Peole will start thining he is nuts.. Either way .. he needs to shut up.. no one wants to hear that bullsh-t or belives it.

Well, I bet the bird could fly more than ten yards at a time.
