Re: “Widespread Bans on Pit Bulls Aren't Sensible Public Policy. So What's Going to Change That?

Pit bulls are not bread to be vicious, fight and attack...as Chris Vogall so ignorantly stated above. It is not in their genes, they are no more genetically predisposed to this than any other dog. It is, indeed, how you raise the dog, no matter what breed. If u train a dog to attack and fight, it will. If u train a dog to be kind and gentle, which is how pit bulls truely are by nature, it will. It's unfortunate the breed has such a poor wrap due to peoples miseducation and ignorance.

Re: “Widespread Bans on Pit Bulls Aren't Sensible Public Policy. So What's Going to Change That?

I am a Lakewood resident and have a purebred pit (Staffordshire Terrior) she is a support dog so Lakewood cannot do anything to her but this does not protect the other dogs that like mine, were raised to be a family dog and not cause havoc on the community. If you train your dog right and socialize it, it will not be a danger to society. Even if you know your dog doesn't get along well with other dogs be responsible for it, don't just let it loose in the dog park to cause trouble that's only ensuring the ban will stay. Leash it, walk it keep it in the yard. This should be common sense. I am in active pursuit with city council members behind be me to repeal the ban. If anyone would like to help or support the cause it would be much appreciated. Think about it, how would you like to be ripped out of your home with an unknown fate based on your genetic makeup? Not a pleasant thought is it.

Re: “Lemon Grass Spot in Cleveland Heights Has Been Claimed: Next Up, Boss Dog Brewing

I like the planning that went into this business. I'm not sure I would have PICKED a brewery, but it will most likely do very well in this location. I wish them lots of luck! Very glad to see a business moving into this space.

Re: “Person Of Interest

All i know is it doesnt matter. I hate that a case like this is still open..i live in columbus ohio but i grew up in Akron and Barberton Ohio. What irritates me is reporters...its sad that a thing like this happening gets them excited instead of sad because it is a big story...i know media attention helps in a case like this but some reporters need to grow a heart.. Saying that i think James Renner is different i think he started the inbestigation for the story but now he cares and he got emotionaly involved , this happened too close to home for me and it is a case i have followed a long time..but look at Johnbenet Ramsey and The Alphebet Killer...there are so many cases of children raped and killed that are unsoved but at least Renner is still investigating it...i am thankful that you are Renner and keep at it someone had to have missed something this goes for Detective James Strunak too..to Renner i am reading your book niw.

Re: “Dave's Will Be Crippled By Minimum Wage Increase

Well reality had to set in for the $15 minimum wage supporter buffoons anyway. They'll have to learn economics one way or another.

Re: “New Bike Law (if Passed by Ohio Senate) Aims to Improve Road Safety

Most people come upon maybe a few bicyclists a year. It's not that big of a deal to wait that few more seconds for a safe opportunity to pass. I cycle and drive a car, and passing cyclists is just about as easy as tying your shoes. If you can't keep your cool when in the presence of cyclists, then you're the one with the problem. I do just fine with it.

Obviously those people in Lyndhurst need to check their white privilege, quit their jobs, and start doing drugs and shooting each other.

Re: “Dave's Will Be Crippled By Minimum Wage Increase

How about Cleveland City Council petitions the State to suspend the min. Wage all together and let two free unforced citizens come to a mutual agreement on a wage?

unemployment would be virtually eliminated and commercial and consequently residential property values would increase making all the citizens better off rather than laid off.

Re: “Cleveland vs. Chicago, a Scientific Breakdown

The greater Cleveland film commission is also bringing a friggin hoard of large scale hollywood films here. All needing those exact creative jobs youre speaking of. Im sure alot of us have seen the F&F set right on the shoreway, And as someone just getting into film-making, that is music to my ears and my city.

Ive lived in Various cities and done my share of scootin, like San Diego for example.. That is an umbrella laden, expensive bar on the beach.

Well, Cleveland is my scummy dive bar tucked in an alley. We have grit. We're not pretentious. And were truthful.

Love Chicago though. Giordanos can just frigg right off with their Sorcery.
