Reuben was the first person I met at Cleveland State when I transferred there in 1979. He saw something in me that no one else did and he encouraged me to hone my skills as both a director and technical theater person. My greatest honor was to stage manage shows for him.
Just so everyone knows...this is a totally made-up fabricated story

I just want to say that this is one of my favorite musicals and seeing it performed with amazingly talented actors was wonderful. Dogfight is an extremely difficult show to perform. The book is not a masterpiece, but the music is. The harmonies are too die for and this group performed them wonderfully. While there were some issues with the show, mainly directing, Colton Ryan blew me away. His song 'Come Back' at the end was the best I've seen it performed. He was absolutely the stand out in the cast and I'll be the first in line for tickets when he gets to Broadway.
Carol & John's is super legit
Wow. No discussion whatsoever of the sleezy stunt Wizard World pulled to put the convention organized by a different group last year out of business? Do your homework, guys; this organization is slimier than a charter school CEO.
cant' wait, come to booth 107 and check out the Doctor Who's Fan Group!
Another important correction to this article from MOCA: The MOCA opening is 7 - 10pm, not 11:30. The 10:15pm screening of The Visitors is at capacity, but the work will be shown throughout the opening.
Important correction to this article: The Transformer Station reception this weekend is Saturday at 7:00 PM, not Friday as noted here.
Christopher Pekoc will visit Akron Art Museum on Thursday, Jan. 29 at 6:30 pm to present a free art talk about his work. For more information, visit AkronArtMuseum.org.
I love this artist and his work! Been a huge fan for years and lucky enough to be his friend. The beauty of Andrews work is that his shapes and colors takes your eye to a new place every time you look at it! Plus his work just makes me happy.
Buntitled is a brilliant comic. Much love

"...some rules have been put in place for works that are illegal or dangerous to visitors. Still, the gallery staff does its best to include everyone and everything that walks through the doors."
So does that mean no crucifixes in vials of human urine? Damn. I'm pissed. Christ, whatta disappointment. But what the hell, I might just go anyway. I'm sure I'll find something else to like.
Chuckles the Clown
I've had the pleasure of viewing this collection in person. Pictures don't do it justice. It's amazing.

Bernazil Orndoff Paschal
Let's not forget that he was the host of "American Scrapbook" the PBS classroom series produced in the 70's by WVIZ-TV. That's how I learned of this great man.
Condolences, but also MANY thanks to the family for educating MANY folks about the power of theatre.
May he Rest In Rhythm.
