Re: “A Centuries-old Asian Tradition is the Main Dish at Ushabu in Tremont

Shabu-Shabu isn't centuries old, it's actually from the the 20th century. I need to check this place out one of these days!

Re: “Eastern European Food, Beer and Cheer Make Hansa a Hit

We've been there a few times already. I highly recommend for a change of pace atmosphere with the same patronage, environment, beer and cheer that Ohio city is known for. So good! Prost!

Thank you Doug Trattner for the very complementary article. We are very proud of our Ohio City neighborhood. Thanks to everyone for your patronage.

This is great news for all of us in the near west side!
On behalf of the XYZ, we welcome ASTORIA to the neighborhood and
wish them much success!

Re: “The Ohio Division of Liquor Control is Taking Aim at 'Low-demand' Bottles

Just another example of why the Division of Liquor Control needs to be totally abolished and freedom of markets restored to the People.

Re: “811 Kitchen Takes Diners on a Mostly Smooth Trip Around the World

I agree with Doug's assessment but would like to add a comment about the bartending staff. In 3 experiences at the bar (I live in the neighborhood), I have not had one positive experience with a bartender. In one particular instance, one wanted tried to start an argument with me and then lectured me on "proper dining etiquette". His reaction was SO inappropriate for me asking to verify that I had received the correct draft beer, that I actually thought to myself "woah, something's really wrong with this guy. Maybe his dog died today or something". Anyhow, on my way out I mentioned something to the GM and she was apologetic but not sincere.

Good luck to you, 811. But I don't have high hopes for your success.
