John Neal the cashier is amazing to me. I miss him though. He was there every day and now I don't see him anymore. Hope all is well with him and hope to see him again. He's really a great employee and you are lucky to have him working there.

Re: “Fear, Ph.D. - A Decade of Scaring the Crap Out of Cleveland

Nice work! I need help with this too! I just filled out KS DoR CR-16 with an online software. It looked much better typed than hand-written. I used http://pdf.ac/5h90HK and it's very easy to use.

My children were requiring CT UCC1 recently and saw a website that hosts 6,000,000 forms . If people need CT UCC1 too , here's https://goo.gl/PkU0Di.

Re: “In Stitches: Tales from the Frontlines of Sustainable DIY Taxidermy

I took one of her classes and it was okay.

I felt like the class was a little big for this kind of intricate work (16 or so). She had 2 assistants which were extremely nice and helped the students. Because of the class size, Mickey only came by our table once in the beginning, then never again. She ended up staying with the other tables near the front. This is really unfortunate because I was hoping to learn more from her expertise, not from her previous students. Or at the very least, a combination of both. It just didn't feel very balanced.

I wanted to be able to ask more questions during the process, but never got the chance to. During her introduction, she was very encouraging about us asking questions, but then I never really saw her to be able to ask. It didn't make sense to have to chase after her while we were working on our own rabbits.

Overall, it is a fine thing to do on a weekend, but I was really hoping to learn more. She is obviously very passionate about what she does, I just wish she was equally passionate about teaching her students as she is about taxidermy. Maybe that just comes with more time and experience

Re: “Unsung Heroes: Profiles of Some of the People Keeping the Local Music Alive

Clockwork Muzik has been one of the best local studios for years budding so many of these artists who play dirty jones shows they don't see money for just a spot on a little grog shop show like it means anything anymore to people in the hip hop community

Dirty in my eyes has always done his shows w younger people who aren't demanding pay and he can make big profits promoting of the risk comes thru unless it's his team or his older boys. And that is a true statement no shade attached

this isn't to be personal against dirty I have love for him and the help he's given young artists but he's FAR from a reason that keeps US going. WE keep him going. Without us artists he has no place because all we have to do is organize our own shows. Plenty of people have done so. But venues like the grog shop OVER CHARGE the hell out of u unless you're dirty so another example of UNFAIR politics in our city. That's why we all look for outside of Cleveland moves if we want to make our careers go because all the old heads in the city think they have this key that doesn't exist. It's a money scheme to keep us all trapped in a Cleveland loop and be local forever.

Re: “Unsung Heroes: Profiles of Some of the People Keeping the Local Music Alive

so inaccurate about the hip hop scene sure dirty does his thing but I'm not gonna go into the semantics and smear a reputation but there are SO many more groups and collectives in this city working so hard . This was a case of you knowing him vs doing research based on the hip hop scenes opinion. Case Barge is managed by a different person too that is inaccurate. Nice read but this is an example of how "politics" work in our city with music.

Look in The Fader, look in Complex, look in Noisey look to major publications and you can see lots of others working just as hard.

I want to shout out LIFE MGMT specifically they have talent and people making real moves. DK KY is helping boom Lil Crays career and ALL the dope studios in the city that put out quality. I can go on forever.

Seems kind of insane not to have Mark Soberay's name on that list! For 21 years Mark has run Rock and Roll City Studios, on Cleveland's near west side, devoting his life to providing a safe, affordable and reliable space for area bands to practice, grow, network, learn and thrive!
