Wow saying what i said to you doesn't compare when reading the article it's like you felt not only my pain but also my family pain and i could never thank you enough for what you have done especially getting my Fathers story back out there again thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul for doing what you did and especially feeling my pain !!!!!
It shows that Cleveland people are more racist than people thought. This just shows that Clevelanders are so close minded. They rather see a radio station loose money and close than switch it to Latin music. Nice going Cleveland
I love 87.7! I moved to Ohio from Texas about 2 years ago, & it is by far my favorite radio station. There are no other stations in Cleveland that play such a broad range of music. I love that I hear songs I've never heard before, as well as music that takes me back down memory lane. Every time I get in my car, I turn it on this radio station, because I can count on liking whatever it is they are playing, any time of day.
Cleveland radio is the reason I get XM/Sirius. How many sports talk stations to we need to discuss our losing professional teams? And all the stations play the same songs and you hear the dumb commercials every 10 minutes. 87.7 was a bright spot to Cleveland radio, now it's leaving.
Anytime there is passion and movement, people can make a difference. I've signed every petition, and I will donate all I can. Save Our Sound!!
I disagree Chris. It will show that Cleveland cares about having good radio, and the staff at 87.7. At the very least it will provide food for families in need. I think it will matter plenty Chris.
...and none of it will matter. They are already staffing the new latin sound now.
Oh no. A 2 minute snowball fight.
There are far too many videos of cops getting in trouble for serious things. This isn't one of those things.
Have fun with your 2 minute snowball fight, Cleveland PD.
You guys have it hard enough the other 364 days, 23 hours, and 58 minutes every year.
Maybe the news should follow Rob Gregory around for a while and make sure he's not wasting any time at all while he's supposed to be working.
its ok Rick Grayson knows exactly what it's like to be chained to a wall and raped consistently and beaten without any form of defense and consistently drugged the point of unconsciousness. didn't you know? he would've been like chick Norris if he were in that predicament.... what a douchebag. get your head out of ass.
I listened to Doug Brown's Scene podcast on this story and learned three things:
1. The bookie's profit per year is $50,000, though they didn't always show a yearly profit. (Shame on Doug, he should have included this fact in the story.)
2. Doug Brown admitted he has no idea who Bruce Drennan is or what happened to him.
3. Scene Mag is gone in the crapper by doing almost nothing but hiring very young journalists and writers on the cheap who have no sense of history.
How do you install a camera by accident? You drop something by accident. You install something on purpose. That intersection is clearly Parma, not Cleveland. This camera was installed in Parma on purpose.
Also, some people on this thread are mistaken. These cameras don't catch people talking on cell phones, texting, or anything other than the intended purpose -- either speeding or running lights. That's all you get.
The City of Cleveland's program brings in revenue, but a HUGE chunk of the money goes to Xerox, the owner of the cameras. It's silly.
A true Cleveland treasure....who had the respect from musicians that was truly remarkable. One sentence, though - "Prior to that, he was the long-time music director at Cleveland’s WCPN, when that station still favored local jazz programming over NPR talk shows." - is telling on a number of levels.
Kanye is a Douch Bagg and not in touch with reality but his money and fame which he dosen't deserve . obviously he's never been in a fire fight . He should shut his ignorant cake hole that worthless POS
how stupid what will they think of next i tell ya!!!
These officers risk their lives on a daily basis to fight America's problems on the streets. They deserve a friggin' break. God knows what call they just got back from before this. Child Abuse? Person shot? Neighbor found dead? They need a stress reliever, so give them their 5 minutes to play for god's sake.
Seriously, give me a break. Half my family has been or is on the force and if people knew half the stuff they have to deal with every day, having a couple minutes of fun is hardly a crime.
David Pickering, perhaps you should learn proper grammar and spelling before sitting at the adult table.
Rick Grayson, you're a sad little man. I admire the women in the article. I pity you.
Give me a break!!! People need to grow up. Cops having fun, oh no!!! News at 11. People wonder why cops have such a negative attitude all the time. Anytime we show our human side we get thrown under a bus. And shame on the sharks at the news. Trying to make an issue out of nothing. Maybe they should focus their attention towards Washington if they want to find where our tax dollars are really being wasted.
These women have given hope to all the families with missing children! A fine example of people that change the world!
