Re: “Ghost Stories: Local Reporter Suzanne Stratford Moonlights as a Producer on The Ghost Inside My Child

She should stick to interviewing cats.

Re: “Wish You Were Here: 20 Vintage Cleveland Postcards

Art Modell once proposed a renovation plan for Cleveland Stadium - which would have been comparable to future renovation blueprints for Soldier Field, Ohio Stadium and Notre Dame Stadium - but the major press conference inside the facility became one huge dud when Mayor George Voinovich and City Council President George Forbes essentially flipped off Modell by cancelling their planned appearances at the event. If anything, this snub set in motion the issues which found Modell as an outsider in the political game.....and ultimately found him moving the original Browns to Baltimore.

Re: “Oak & Embers Tavern Steps in to Plug Far-East BBQ Gap

I don't know what restaurant Brian Wilson is talking about but we ate at Oak & Embers this weekend and found it to be very clean and the food was fantastic. Big thumbs up!!

Re: “Yes to Perform 'Fragile' In Its Entirety at Hard Rock Live

I gather the band will never perform "Drama" in its entirety -- which delivered a rockier sound, as Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman gave way to Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes....and actually pointed the way to the masterful arena/prog-rock sound of Asia.

George Noory should contact Suzanne Stratford and get her on Coast-To-Coast AM for a couple hours.

Re: “Alan Parsons Project to Play Masonic Auditorium in May

"Tales of Mystery and Imagination: Edgar Allan Poe" was as ambitious of a debut album release during the golden age of FM rock.

Re: “Hashtag: East Cleveland Public Library. Hashtag: Moving Forward

The key in this city is for the sane to finally seize control and demonstrate that there is a future for the place, which then allows Cleveland to make a push to swallow it up.

Re: “Señor Tequila Mexican Restaurant to Open at Shaker Square

I have been a couple times. The food has always been amazing, and the service was great! The hostess was very nice and our server was a blast. The place was fairly busy, but that didn't seem to have an affect on the food quality or service. The tables and chairs were beautiful, I love what they have done with the old Zanizibar, and I can't wait for the patio to open. Everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves and I can understand why. I am definitly going back!

Only downside is, no Friday specials or Happy Hour? They need to fix that.

Re: “A Look Back at Chippewa Lake Amusement Park: Slideshow

Had to laugh when I read "The property now boasts an entertainment complex, featuring a hotel and spa, restaurants and more." In fact, the property was razed and now sits empty. Funding for the development fell through years ago.

Re: “Seymour Ave. Horror to Become Lifetime Movie

This is fucking sick. Why the fuck would they want a movie made of this? I say leave well enough alone and let those girls live in peace. let Ariel castro remain in hell and not bring this shit back up again. Let those young women heal and get on with their lives. You honestly think they wanna turn on the TV and see shit like this? Putting salt on the wound.. seriously.

Re: “Uber Launches in Cleveland Today

I was recently an UberX driver here in Cleveland for their launch and after just 3 days have told them to "shove it". They barely pay more than a $1 per mile when every other taxi service in the Cleveland area charges between $2.75 and $3.28 per mile, and they sent me from Lorain County all the way to Shaker Heights (28 mile away) on the east side leading me to believe that I was the closest available driver to that person, then the person ended up only going 2 mile up the road for a whopping total trip cost of $5. it cost me more than $10 in gas to get there, do the trip and then come back to the west side. Add in the fact that you're using your own personal vehicle, responsible for ALL maintenance, gas, and insurance, and are being paid ridiculously low rates per mile and for wait time. they don't take into consideration that you may be crossing county lines, and the kicker is that Uber specifically tells their customers that tipping is not to be done. Since when is tipping a bad thing in the service industry??? Uber Cleveland, to you I say F@#* OFF and can't wait until you're forced to pull out of the Cleveland market.

Re: “Freedom Trolls: The Legally Obnoxious Antics of the Activists Behind 'Cop Block'

So sue me.

Please further my edification, enlightenment, and education...what, exactly, is so terrible? Explain.

Is it the castigation of the poster, or the rest of the rant?

Just saying "Your post sucks" is not even a valid reply...not without clarification. WHY does it suck? If you can't walk the walk, don't talk the talk.

Re: “Local Graphic Artist Derek Hess to Guest on Tonight's "Metal on Metal" Radio Program

.....Bill Peters mentions Starz -- a band that never had breakout commercial success, but has been cited as having a major influence on the glam metal scene. When touring to promote the self-titled debut album, WMMS hosted a special evening at the Agora for a gig -- complete with special invitations that fans used to gain admittance into the club.
