Re: “Having His Cake and Eating it Too

What this article is telling, 'is about a greedy narcistic person using other people's good nature to fulfill his greedy & sick dreams just like Bernie Maddoff that made millions of dollars with his ponsey scheme.' It is really sad how he wants to mislead people in his own community.

Re: “Parma Man Charged with Murder of Transgender Woman Cemia Dove

Still ain't over yet...The Plain Dealer will probably use this current news about the found girls to attempt to weasel out of the meeting that's being demanded by the Cleveland trans community and allies to discuss their jacked up Cemia coverage.

Re: “The Internet is Now Raising Money for Charles Ramsey

I heard about Mr. Cordero. I also heard that he didn't speak any English so therefore he wasn't able to be interviewed. I don't have an opinion on the right or wrongness of this but you and I both know that the news media loves a human interest story. And Mr. Ramsey is a walking human interest story - with his less than perfect English and diction (not meant as a slight towards him). He was the one they could put a microphone in front of his face and he was the one who was able to give a riveting description of what happened. If Mr. Cordero desires to be recognized for his part in the rescue, he or an English-speaking family member needs to come forward. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying that's how the media game is played. And I don't really think Mr. Ramsey desires all the attention that's being put on him. I saw an interview he did with CNN and you could tell that he was very uncomfortable and probably now only wants to be left alone. It's really sickening how people are making fun of him, his speech pattern and his bad teeth as if that's required for helping someone escape a 10 year torture chamber. With the internet we have become fools and uncaring idots.

Re: “Charles Ramsey Has Been Songified

Auto-tuning is awesome. My favorites have to be when they auto-tune the news, or the old "I'm backin up, backin up, backin up, backin up, 'cause my daddy taught me good" song

Re: “The Internet is Now Raising Money for Charles Ramsey

If all the money goes to the victims, then I don't see why donating would be a bad thing. In that scenario though, why not just set up a fund in the names of the victims?

Re: “Impromptu Vigil Brings Seymour Community Together

"What am I going to do to try to improve this community?"

That should be everyone's rallying cry since we're all in this together. Unfortunately, many people instead try to see what they can get out of the community, while putting nothing back into it. You get out of the community what you put into it.

Re: “Marcia Fudge Likes Jesse Jackson Jr.'s Karaoke Skills

The reason why everyone loved the karaoke nights so much was because the campaign of Jesse Jackson Jr. probably picked up the tab at the end of the night!

Re: “Here's a Funny Quote from Charles Ramsey

Hopefully he uses his new-found fame to bring some comfort or peace to the families of the victims, and to remind people to always be careful.

Re: “The Long History of Ariel Castro, Cleveland Kidnapper and Monster

Castro admitted, in his recently uncovered letter, that he had a sex addiction. I now wonder if he raped any of his daughters or sons and if he actually fathered any of his own grandchildren. Especially now, knowing that one of his daughters tried to kill her own young child.

I am also horrified by the fact that Castro served no time for nearly killing his ex-wife who is now deceased. Also, if Fernando Colon's story is true, that years ago he tried and failed to lead the FBI to Castro, heads should roll at the FBI.

This is all so sickening. Castro obviously had no value or respect for women and for years was allowed to leave a trail of horrible violence against girls and women. We as a society must do better to protect one another, especially our women and children.
