Although Matt Zone has done a great job he better watch out. Kamms corners is getting to be a pretty fun area with the new streets and sidewalks, the new mexican restuarant, three new bars and updates to Kamms plaza. Mary keane certainly is doing a great job as well. By the way, none of this happens without money and support from mayor Jackson and council leader Martin Sweeney. Clevelanders like to bitch and moan but I like the fact that the city leaders picked a target in each ward and starrted improving from that point out. When you have such a dire scenario this seems like a good policy.

Kudo's to Matt Zone. He has done wonders with this area. Last night he manged to get Stone Mad filled with St Eds grads and he was a big part of the launch of the new wine bar at Battery park. A politician adding to his neighborhood and making it better. Imagine that!

Famous Daves is the best BBQ joint? Really Cleveland? Then throw in Chilis or Max and Ermas BBQ too! I mean c'mon! A chain restaurant in N. Olmsted next to the mall is the "best BBQ" in Cleveland? Wow! This poll is similar to the people who answer questions at the site of an event when the local TV folks are scrambling for comments - nothing really to say, just want to get my name out there for my homies to see me at home. Really Cleveland??? Famous Daves???

RR brewing company?? Yeah right - a suburban bar that caters to the "locals"??? I have never seen any flavor in this joint. The same scene you will find in any Westlake, Avon Lake, Bay Village or Rocky River bar. This bar is nothing special. Typical west side bar with no culture.

We took our out-of-town guests to Sweet Lorain for a post-Thanksgiving visit, and everyone loved it -- the teenagers, the grad students, the old folks, everyone! Sweet Lorain vintage treasures will now be heading to Michigan, New Hampshire and California. We're hoping to make it a tradition . . .

Carmelo's Pizza Bizzare in Euclid. One of the best pies in Cleveland if not the best. This is the last of the Pizza Bizzare Shops. Well worth every penny and the best service. If you like Pizza.....Then this is the place :)

While the building itself is beautifully remodeled and the individual units are very nice, the hassle you will likely experience with management is not worth it.
First of all, expect to pay A LOT for an apartment. I had a 950 sq. ft. unit and paid over $1,000/month—pretty ridiculous given the fact that it is Cleveland, OH; not Chicago or some other major city where high rent is expected.
But, my biggest issue was with the management, specifically the general manager, Claudia. She was consistently rude and downright nasty when it came to dealing with tenants. Had a known how much of a hassle it would be to get my security deposit back, I would have never signed a lease with this company.
Note, that Tremont Place Lofts engages in illegal landlord/tenant practices and holds security deposits without just cause. You have to threaten to take them to court before they will give you your rightfully owed security deposit back. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for a place to call home—the excessive rent costs and inconvenience and unprofessionalism of the general management at Tremont Place Lofts are not worth the trouble.

This is the best Chinese we've had since we moved her from California. It is fresh, delicious, and very authentic. We vacillate between wanting to share how good this restaurant is and keeping it to ourselves so it doesn't get too crowded. We only tell friends we deem worthy. Selfish, maybe, but once we hit the door we just want to eat!

I like My Minds Eye but Blue Arrow Records near the Beachland has by far way more vinyl to choose from. I go about once a week and the stock is constantly updated. VINYL RULES!

Sweet Lorain is awesome. Complete disclosure, I've put a ton of volunteer hours in helping Redwin get the place in shape -- but hey, that makes my comment all the more insightful. I've moved furniture, vacuumed floors, and cleaned objet d'art. As did many of RL's friends. Visit Sweet Lorain soon.
