Who you calling a joker, you jamoke? Joke you if you can't take a fuck...
Chuckles the Clown
Look, Cleveland is OK, but merely just OK. The reason why real estate is cheaper here is because it's more BORING and BLAND here! Once you've experienced the good food, orchestra, zoo, theatres, metroparks, etc., there is nothing much else to do here. Lake Erie is a joke of a mud puddle, compared to the great salt water beaches of America, the traffic lights are timed to stop you from advancing a few blocks at a time when driving, and the culture is a lot more homogenous than the more larger cities and metro areas. Drive just a few miles away from Cleveland proper, and you enter vast swaths of unexciting farmland. The people that diss Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Chicago, etc. are usually the ones that can't AFFORD it! I've lived in some of those cities, and I would, without hesitation move back if I could! But for now, i'm STUCK in Cleveland!
Legacy? A highly dysfunctional and failing school system. City services at the best are terrible. Pot holes everywhere. Leaf pick-up only occurs when the wind blows. A police department under the watch of the federal government. A health department that cannot find a solution to a lead problem. City council being led blindly and making bad decisions daily based upon fear. That's right, give this clown 4 more years.
You can have him back. No, really. We insist you take him back.
We all need to work on some of the real problems facing the world, you all are still funny, anyways! http://fitnessmodeldiet1.org/
I congratulate and celebrate you.
Black and Beautiful!!!
And I'm black and proud to be your auntie.
It is also worth noting that during the regular program year (September-June) Trinity has a more traditional choral Eucharist at 11:15am with the same preacher and sermon as the earlier services.
The staff, the drinks, the experience of immersing yourself within the world of Porco...it's like entering an alternate universe, one you don't want to leave. I love you guys.
Myra Rosario is one of the most talented Hispanic entrepreneurs in Northeast Ohio. I am completely amazed how she has been able to single handedly bring recognition to over 100 local Latin-owned business and Latin non-profit organizations. She is an inspiration to my daughter and I am happy to see positive role models in our Latino community.
Thank you Myra for shining brightly...
After visiting many tiki bars around the US and finding it filled with pretentious people, it was a breath of fresh air when Stefan opened Porco. Cheers to you my friend.
What a wonderfully well written article, it does better than most at capturing the spirit of Porco. I am lucky enough to call Stefan my friend. He and Anne Marie are like a bug light for magnificent people. When you walk into Porco you'll feel it, there is a lot of love in that room.
Congratulations, well deserved continue the success from Niagara rally host Shawn
John is a Cleveland legend. Grog isn't the Grog without him.
You are amazing and I wish you only success!
Seti is a class act. Lovely wife. Best hotdogs in Cleveland
I love you Kelly, and all you do for humanity!
My favoriite place on earth for so many reasons! Always fun, friendly, warm and welcoming. You can go by yourself and not feel alone. Belly up to the bar and make a few new friends! The team there knows their stuff and are always happy to advise newbies and spin some yarn! So much to look at - true historical tiki history in there along with other silly kitsch mixed in.
Keep on keeping on Ronnie. Cle and Ohio needs an intelligent voice like urs....
Doing great work Jacqueline Greene
