Re: “Cleveland Man Found Burning On Top of Metro-North Train in Connecticut Has Died

Christ, what a horrible way to die. And I've a terrible feeling he wasn't up on that roof voluntarily.

Re: “Bomba, New Taco Concept From Paladar Group, to Launch in Rocky River

I'm guessing this is going in by CVS, on the opposite end of the strip. They just renovated the corner property there, building a patio and such. It would make sense.

Re: “Cleveland-Area FM Stations, Ranked

I would just like to say that I am completely disappointed with the DJs on 99.1. Remember when 92.3 was alternative rock? Like, REAL alternative rock? Not the pop mix-up 99.1 claims to be alternative. That was good radio. Also, WNCX is great.

Re: “Cleveland-Area FM Stations, Ranked

no 107.3 The Wave? i call bullshit. Also 89.7 is a better NPR then 90.3 Dee Perry is not that good.

Re: “Cleveland-Area FM Stations, Ranked

After driving across the country, I can honestly say Cleveland radio is the absolute worst if you are a rock/metal fan. This town is stuck on classic rock bullshit. I'm 50 and think it's horrible.

Re: “Enter nuCLEus: The Massive Downtown Development Project of the Hour

I love the idea of more retail but why don't we just invest in tower city and the galleria? I'd love to see those back to what they once were.

Re: “Cleveland-Area FM Stations, Ranked

98.1 isnt too bad, better than 96.5.
98.1 is out of Akron, but it comes in clear on Cleveland's eastside burbs. But really it all sucks that we don't have good stations. Good rock, alternative, indie rock channel. Thanks Clear Channel, you guys suck.

Re: “Cleveland-Area FM Stations, Ranked

I agree...although it's Akron, stream 93.1 the Summit. No commercials and great playlists of a magical variety.

Re: “Cleveland-Area FM Stations, Ranked

I'd put WCSB above WRUW, but it's a close tie.

Re: “Cleveland City Council May Amend Non-Discrimination Ordinance to Accommodate Transgender Community

"The updated law isn't going to allow men to hang out in women's restrooms or vice versa." It absolutely does. Have you read the text of the law? It says that the spaces in question -- locker rooms, showers, etc. -- must be open to all sexes without qualification. No transgender status is necessary. While the intent may be fairness towards the transgender community, the actual letter of law clearly opens up these spaces to all comers.

Sounds great. The flats needs a comeback. I hope it succeeds. Brings back a lot of memories for me down there.

Re: “Cleveland Animal Protective League is Offering Up Kittens and Cats For $5 Today and Tomorrow

I lost one of my feline companions in May, after almost fifteen years. But it looks as though I will also have to wait for one of my other kitties, who's nineteen and mostly blind, to join her late "brother" she would not like having a new addition to the household. Don't need the hiss-offs.

And then there's the money issue...
So I guess no adoptions for me until APL's next Dollar Cat Night.
