The DSM is a piece of crap which is why it's going away. People's diagnoses change perpetually, push the right buttons and anyone can be labeled " crazy". Remember glbt ppl were once seen as such.
Especially when you believe in reincarnation.
If you guys think this is going to make some point against wahoo you're wrong. I support wahoo and I think tshirts are great and so does EVERYONE I know. We're all getting one. In fact we're talking about starting a crusade to change the name and logo to this we think it's so great. I don't know if it'll shut people up but it sure would be funny.
The number of misspellings in Dale's letter and these comments is so..... so so Cleveland. :)
You should have included Brennan's Colony.
A friend of mine got drugged over this past Christmas in July weekend up there.
YOLO is the dumbest phrase to EVER exist.
Everyone I grew up with in inner city Cleveland, off Payne ave, will want a couple of these......
Squid......the most likely place to find something misspelled isn't a tea party sign, it's in a public school in any Liberal controlled urban area......
And your propaganda about hate is hollow when all the tea parties what is to follow the Constitution and control spending and taxes.......avoid the kook aid and MSNBC for a bit and maybe you will be able to come up with an original idea some day
Ok, I need to find out more about this. I have been working on a concept like this for quite a while.
Please let me know who would be best to discuss this with.
Thans so much,
June. I'm surprised at you. If you are mentally ill, diagnosed and on meds, I would expect you to have a slightly higher level of awareness, especially of the fact that "mentally ill" covers a great deal of ground. This story sounds like this woman has some form of dementia combined with some form of borderline personality disorder (which can include impulsivity control.) There area also several disorders, one of which is very common in elderly people with dementia, which are manifest as a severe or complete lack of inhibitions. In fact the DSM-IV lists this particular behavior (habitually defecating in public or in inappropriate places) as a symptom - encopresis.
So, just because you're mentally ill and don't do this in public, doesn't mean that it's not a sign of mental illness, only that it's not a symptom of *your* particular mental illness, and I'd be concerned that someone who is diagnosed with a mental illness would have so little awareness of mental illness that she would lump everyone else's behavior in with her own.
Oh no, not YOLO!
All of this seems stupid and pointless. If I, as a taxpayer, bought you a floating dock, then you can use that dock for the length of its useful life. If it falls into disrepair, or has problems, or you need whatever else, then the boaters can pay for it. "Oh, but really your line was just too weak, LOLZ!@!!!" Just stop, I don't care. Do whatever the hell you want, just don't ask me for more money.
Oh darn, so sad it's been cancelled. How horrible. Now the people will have to find something useful and worthwhile to attend.
kind of a shame I liked battery park wine bar, but the new place sounds like it could be real nice as well.
It's not like this was a member of Scene stalking him, this was just a random fan taking a picture, and Scene is commenting on that. Heck, I think it's kind of cool that someone like Johnny chose two bucks to visit and grab a beverage at.
I really don't understand how a white person, oops, sorry, Caucasian person, could be offended by this. That shirt is hilarious! Personally, I think it makes the point that offensive things can be non-offensive to the majority of people. Yes, there are always going to be random people who are offended by everything, but these people were probably also offended that they were born, and tried to sue the hospital.
If you have an actual mental illness, there is no problem with that. However, if you can't follow basic rules, such as no pooping in places where you shouldn't be pooping, then you can either (1) take medication for that, or (2) suffer the consequences. If you "can't help it" or whatever reason you feel entitles you to poop in public, I'm really sorry but that doesn't excuse you. Oh, and the fact that she was shoplifting $140 in merchandise leads me to suspect that she did not in fact have a mental illness and was in reality just a thief that got caught.
Lol. A piece that gave me a chuckle, but at the same time actually makes a very serious statement at the end. Yes, Cleveland is on the rise, and a lot of amazing things are happening in the city. At the same time, however, there are a lot of major problems that we still have to face head on. Don't get complacent and relax now that a couple things have gone our way. If we want to keep this city going forward and improving, we still have a TON of work to do. Keep to the grindstone, everyone, there's still a long way to go.
Well, gee, I'll really hold my breath for this one. How many years did he live nearby and never notice that anything was wrong? I mean, I don't blame him or anything for not noticing, but by giving him a radio show you're making him out to be someone that is extremely observant and aware of what's going on around him. I really don't think this is actually the case.
