Re: “15 Vintage Photos of Cleveland Streets

I'm trying to figure out what I'm looking at in the Clifton/Lake avenue 1972 photo (#6). It seems like it's looking East on Clifton but there was already an underpass beneath the shoreway there by 1966 according to other photos in this Cleveland Memories collection so those white houses don't make sense. Anyone know?

Re: “15 of the Best Burger Joints in Cleveland, East to West

This list is a fucking joke. Half of these places aren't anywhere near Cleveland. Akron, for example, is NOT Cleveland, nor is it East or West of Cleveland, so why not title the story "15 Best Burgers in Northeast Ohio"? Also, where is the Clevelander from Biggie's?? You guys at Scene are fucking hacks. Give it up all ready.

Re: “15 of the Best Burger Joints in Cleveland, East to West

That photo for Swenson's cannot be right. Their burgers are delicious, but they don't look anything like that photo. Swenson's is a drive-in... why is there a real plate?!!

Re: “15 of the Best Burger Joints in Cleveland, East to West

Oh, no, you didn't include Louie's in Akron. Best burgers around in a working-class neighborhood at working-class prices.

Re: “15 of the Best Burger Joints in Cleveland, East to West

Stevenson's Big Guy is not on this list, thereby invalidating all other entries. There is nothing to see here.

Re: “10 Things Going on this Weekend in Cleveland (September 19 - 21)

This is a good start, but there is a dragon boat festival down in the flats by Shooters on Saturday, the 20th. It is a free event and even food trucks to try out. Come watch this amazing sport take place down the Cuyahoga river and see Cleveland in a new way.

Re: “26 Photos from the Cleveland Browns Home Opener and Tailgating at the Muni Lot

Pictures seem fine to me. Considering the official Scene camera is probably a Sony Cybershot that cost $99, what do you expect?

Diana Munz won Olympic gold and bronze medals. She was from Chagrin Falls or Bainbridge.

Pulitzer Prize winner and author Connie Schultz of Kent State not worthy of inclusion? Only Pulitzer in 60 years for PD. Author David Giffels of U of Akron?
