Mi Pueblo is no longer at the Lorain location. I am not sure how Villa Y Zapata on Madison is not mentioned; it sure beats several of the ordinary listed.
The ladies at St Josephat make great pierogi. I think the Gray Wolf used to serve them. Yummmmmmmm.
Such good memories! I enjoyed the log ride and the boat ride that went through the different scenes on the lake. I think they even had a water ski show there, like sea world. I enjoyed these silver rockets that hung on wires and spun around. The wooden coaster was called the Big Dipper, and the first drop looked like you were going to hit your head on the cross beam. They had this ride called the Rotor, where it would spin and you would stick to the side, then the floor would drop and you would stick to the wall. But, my dad was so heavy that he actually went down with the floor!!! The even had a wave pool at one time. I think the mascot was Geauga Dog!
With tax and a tip, LBJ will shell out $75.
A perfect steak is worth $66, even $100. Nothing is better than a perfect steak.

Jennifer Garner went to Dennison (I believe) and Martin Luther King's widow went to Antioch.
Big Lebowski screening likely in honor of Jeff Bridges' 65th Birthday.
OMG! You HAVE to include Slices in Cleveland right by the Zoo on Pearl Rd (W.25th) across from the old Deaconess Hospital. Absolutely to die for cheesecakes and other decadent cakes made the old world way with REAL butter, eggs, cheese, cream, etc etc!!!
What is an "online" bakery?
Biga in Kirtland!!
Bev, We can all thank GENERAL MOTORS IN THEIR GREED TELLING US THAT THEIR DIRTY DIESEL BUSES WERE MORE EFFICIENT. BEFORE MY TIME THERE WERE INTER URBAN TROLLEYS THAT WOULD TAKE YOU TO VARIOUS CITIES IN OHIO......ALL GONE.
send em to san francisco.. we'll use the trolleys. ha ha
Why is it still lit? And why isn't a lot of that stuff auctioned off as salvage? The fare box for example would go in a second, for well over a grand. Can't even imagine the price tag for the trolley car.
Capri Pizza - Bagley Road - Middleburgh Hts. Best NY style thin crust.
I have had pizza all over the world and pizza in Italy is far better than any pizza I have eaten in New York and Chicago. Several spots in Cleveland's Little Italy come close to the crust texture from Italy. It is tough to beat the Italian tomatoes.
