way back in i think lebron's 2nd year two had a heated pre-season game that among other things, included paul pierce spitting in the direction of the cavs bench. and i distinctly remember whoever wrote the article covering the game noted that this could be the beginning of something big.

"Something happened to me when Shapiro traded Victor. It stopped being my team. I told my son to find another team. They're dead to me."
while i wasnt thrilled with the deals that shapiro (forcibly) made, that is exactly the defeatist attitude that plagues so many clevelanders. sure, blame your owners, your GMs, your coaches, and if applicable, your players, but don't give up on your team. don't tell your kid to go find another team, because in the end, when your team finally does get it together (jacobs field era anybody?), youre just going to be a bandwagoner like everybody else.
through thick and thin. you can stop watching games but never denounce your team unless you really mean it.

I think those posters were made by a company called Costaca Brothers and while theyre reminiscent of a past time, they would still translate well now. I had a McGwire/Canseco "Bash Brothers" poster myself, with the 'roid bros dressed up as The Blues Brothers holding baseball bats. A favorite of mine (that I did not have) was Christian Okoye's "Nigerian Nightmare" poster where he was sporting a Freddy hat and clawed glove.
