The PD article didn't delve into the downside of oil/gas drilling--especially in urban environments. Erin Obrien's article in The Cleveland Scene reveals the dark side of the oil/gas drilling industry. Reform of Ohio law is needed, but not S.B. 165 which is just a cosmetic tool to allow the drillers to continue to do their dirty work while while families, neighborhoods, and communities in Northeast Ohio suffer. We must back State Senator Grendell and the Northeast Ohio Gas Accountability Project who have put together the REAL reform bill. It will soon be introduced into the Ohio Senate.
