A story about Cleveland doesn't belong in Scene? Um.... "just don't belong" and the errors in Trigger's comment I think pretty accurately indicate the level of comprehension by the posters. As far as the "wordiness" goes, it's pretty obvious one must set up what's to come with some adjectives and background to get the reader in the mindset. Too bad you didn't continue reading. Have fun shopping at Wal-Mart and eating Burger King, local entrepreneurs will do fine without you.
I think an actual pumpkin would be better
Hidden camera is one thing, if it is shared with strangers, that takes it to a whole different level of disrespect. You can be lonley and desperate and do dumb things. There is no justification for sharing the videos, other than that he probably contributed to an online community that uploaded other real, or staged voyer videos and he was returning the favor. I just hope the "child porn" is 16-17 nostalgia-for-your own youth type of stuff and not kids or older men with teens.
Hey, man that's right on. I admit I was a little hurt that I wasn't asked the first year because I DO know people, but you've really gotta be out there makin' friends and being inclusive and getting the word out that you think the event is cool and that you'd really love to be a part of it. I'm thrilled that Steve Barrett suggested me to Council member Jae and that I got in. There are a lot of people that can't make the time constraints though and there will be openings next time. Thanks for spelling it out in all the dimensions it covers!
Ok, before we all get into yet ANOTHER, "that band sucks", "they're great, you know nothing about music" argument, could we all just admit that they are able and fairly talented musicians who choose to write cheezy, predictable songs, and have mastered an "image" for mainstream consumption of their product. Thank you, you can all resume your homework for tomorrow, little ones.
So, Sotelo initialized it, but no mention of his band name?
