Thanks for this tip! I visited Caribe for the first time last weekend and enjoyed rice, beans, empanadillas, the blood sausage and chicharrones. I can't wait to go back!
Piffle's in Parma (which used to be Fergie's) has closed. I'm so sad. They had my favorite gyros.
Can anyone who remembers a Fergie's gyro recommend the best place to get one just like it?
A piece of advice to anyone on a chicken quest: do your research before you make that long haul down to Barberton for the famous Barberton chicken.
It's different than the fried chicken most people are accustomed to, as it has very few spices - only salt and pepper - in the breading, making it kind of bland by comparison. It is very tender and juicy.
The famous hot sauce is also unusual - it's a small bowl of stewed tomatoes and rice with a very small and subtle bit of "heat."
Zog Dog still has a mobile operation that shows up at fairs and carnivals. Zog Dogs are great!
Was the camera being held by a hummingbird juiced up on Red Bull?
