This is really sad news. I've been going to the Grovewood for years and was last there a month or so ago. With so many great restaurants in Cleveland I would only make it there a few times a year, but always had a great meal, drinks, and service there.
I wonder if they god the idea from Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh?
Melissa wins because gravy. Joe in close second with turducken.
The Hudson location is closed.
This will kill me but here goes:
A large #8 pho and banh mi from Superior Pho
Reuben from Slyman's
Cassoulet from L'Albatros
Wings from Battiste and Dupree
Pigs head from Greenhouse
Duck breast from Grovewood
Ribeye from Red
Fresh garlic sausage from Raddell's
Cheese plate from Crop
Charcuterie from L'Albatros
Pommes frites from Bar Cento
Yoghurt shake from Tommy's
Sundae from Sweet Moses
Hopefully the food improves with Maggie at the helm. I've eaten there twice and both times the food tasted like pure salt. No other flavors were present. I've not been there in over a year because of the food and average beer.
Their bacon is amongst the best I've ever had. When I'm not curing my own, I try and get it from them.
