Notice how Windhorst never really criticized the Quitter? We now know that it was because he was planning to go down to Miami to kiss some more [expletive].
I will say this. Windhorst was a good reporter here, and he will have his work cut out for him joining a media outlet with zero journalistic integrity.
There are lots of hot, smelly jobs out there. Having had one in the past I know that it isn't the greatest, but it pays the bills even at $9/hr, especially in Cleveland where housing is rock bottom cheap. The employees are welcome to leave if they like, and when they do I bet there are dozens of others who would apply in a heartbeat.
As for the safety aspect...if OSHA found almost nothing, it is probably very safe. I can tell you, again from experience, that when OSHA comes into a plant they will look for any little thing they can find just to make money on fines. I've seem them practically close down a place that had like 1 injury in over a million hours worked.
