Tried, convicted and stigmatized by the media...Disgusting to see the low level that the "Justice System" has sunk to, aided and abetted by sleazy TV types who will do anything to get notariety. Due Process is dead in this country, along with the Constitutionally-mandated premise of Innocent Until Proven Guilty. I hope this guy nails every one of the 'co-conspirators' involved in this travesty.
Who cares? One gets busted, 2 take their place. Everybody acts like the "Drug Problem" is somebody elses' problem...Who the hell are we kidding here? Everyone does drugs of one kind or another, but we persist with this ludicrous hypocracy anyway. Legalize it, tax it, and pay off the national debt in 5-6 years. It's never going to go away, so why do we piss 1.7 Trillion away since the 70's on this fiasco when we could actually make a profit? Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
That's all well and good, but these 'mom & pop' meth labs are nothing when compared to the tons and tons of the stuff coming in from Mexico. As bad as Meth is, the real drug abuse danger in this part of the country is Heroin. You've got kids from up-scale neighborhoods all over NE Ohio dropping dead in the back seat of their friends car, or in their parents bathrooms/basements, etc. Meth will kill you if used for years, but with Heroin all it takes is one shot or snort of really pure stuff, and you're gone. This problem, I consider far worse than the few measley ounces of Meth the cops pull off the streets. Of course, I don't expect anything to be done about this until kids are dropping like flies from it.
The Fullerton Ca. cops beat a homeless schizophrenic to death in front of witnesses, the Oakland transit cops literally execute a black man, (he was restrained, face down, and the cop shot him in the back), on a train platform in front of dozens, NYPD shove a plunger handle up Abner Luemas rectum, a Texas trooper TASERs the daylights out of a 70-year old granny during a traffic stop, Maricopa County sheriffs and local SWAT bust into an ex-marines house and riddle him with bullets in front of his wife and child during an erroneous no-knock entry, NYPD shoot a man 30 times fumbling for his house keys in a doorway...The list goes on and on. When are we going to draw the line on this violent, shoot-first-ask-questions-later mentality? Similar to pedophiles entering the priesthood to molest little children with impunity, police departments today seem to be a haven for violent, unbalanced, malefactors who do not have public service in mind when they join up. Rather, it seems that they are there to engage in the systematic, sociopatic abuse of the public, serving only their egos and the immense chips they carry on their shoulders. It is bad enough that law-happy legislators on every level of government are writing laws in an unprecedented frenzy, confirming with each new law passed, that we are indeed, firmly in the grip of a police state, and in the end, having these deluded lunatics with guns and badges carrying out enforcement of those laws, answerable in full to virtually no one, is a travesty to say the least. I personally believe that law enforcement, ON EVERY LEVEL, should be answerable to an independent CIVILIAN board of review when it comes to these insane excesses. It's the only way that those imbedded thugs within the police ranks can be dealt with effectively.
Just goes to show you how low the psychological bar has been set for admission into the police academies these days. Looks to me like they'll take anyone with a Texas-sized chip on their shoulder that has a major pre-disposition for violence. Why not hire Hannibal Lecter? He's just as unbalanced as this a-hole. Yeah, he'll either get a slap on the wrist, or worse yet, get fired and turn up working for another P.D. somewhere else, once again free to terrorize the general public with his high-wire act. Swell.
Absolute genius, fabulous execution...I want to buy that man a drink.
Big deal..."The Bloated One" can go jump in the lake, and take his idiotic show with him. Ack.
