@sceneit - If he did not receive an email from Mr. Barrett admitting to the allegations, @mr.meadows is looking at spending some time in court himself - as the defendant in a defamation suit.
Remember that about 40% of arrests do not result in convictions. Last I checked, everyone in this country has a right to be considered innocent until proven guilty. If you want to believe all of the allegations against Mr. Barrett are true, you have the freedom to do that, but let him be free to remain innocent until proven otherwise. If you cannot do that, you are pushing right up against the very freedoms in which you say you believe. Let the system do its work. The prosecutors and judge did not feel he was a danger to society or a flight risk, or he would have been behind bars from arrest to arraignment/trial. It's not like he is paying a high-power attorney; he has a public defender.
