I would agree with you except for one glaring thing. Bob Lamonte represents Many coaches in the NFL. The thing you have to ask yourself is this, Would they have been able to entice these high profile men to the organization if the Browns didn't have a good relationship with Bob Lamonte? Are there other candidates more glaringly qualified that were overlooked BECAUSE they weren't rep'd by Lamonte? I can't think of any, more qualified, than the ones in place right now. Shurmur was handpicked by Holmgren, I really don't think that had anything to do with Lamonte.
