Vote Here and Now for Best of Cleveland 2017®!
Vote out every incumbent.
It's the only path.
I worked in a tax office for two seasons.
I think there are already laws on the books regarding preparer certification and the loans.
Whether they are being enforced is a different question...
Of course the unelected, unaccountable arbitrator will probably reverse all discipline and ensure Loomis is fully compensated.
That aspect of the police union contracts *must* be corrected during the current negotiations.
Loomis assaulted a CDP officer?
So Blue on Blue crime is OK?
Most people would be beaten or killed, arrested, indicted, and convicted if they did that.
So the guy who is all the time telling us about all these members of society that want to bring harm to police has actually brought harm to a police officer?
The guy who accuses BLM of presenting a "False Narrative" actually beat up a cop?
And this is supposed to be acceptable conduct by a member of the Cleveland Community Police Commission?
No, I don't thing our community includes assaulting a cop as part of community based policing - but apparently CPC Commissioner Loomis does.
He assaulted a Cleveland cop.
Where's the outrage?
Sadly, the Consent Decree "monitoring" has turned out to be a rubber stamp by the DOJ and the Monitor allowing the city to assure there will be no Constitutional Policing.
The city never agreed to the DOJ's findings, and will continue to do everything they can to thwart the Consent Decree's intentions.
"But what happened to Dan Ficker was outrageous and an example why the CPD is under federal monitoring. His family has waited five years for justice, and hopefully it will come soon.”
1.3 million people show up one afternoon and there's no problems.
Loomis conflates his under-informed and one-sided conjecture with facts.
His inexplicable and outsized presence on the Consent Decree's Cleveland Community Police Commission has contaminated every aspect of the implementation since the beginning.
