President of RED Diamond Realty. The broker that is actually still located in downtown Cleveland. Friendly to Realtors and friendly to customers. We don't make…
This is the kind of thing that makes Cleveland Great. I have been saying for years that Cleveland will be the turnaround city of the century but like the legendary frog on the hotplate, no one is really noticing the paved streets, the new schools and the new look to Edgewater park etcetera. But if you look this year Cleveland has fallen off of many list it used to dominate such as highest crime, lowest jobs, lowest housing cost, highest unhappy population on and on. The city is here, now doing great things which also coincide with hopeful sports teams. These events are great things Mr.Jackson but I ask you to start investing in your Police and fire departments. We all know you despise the cost of these divisions but any MBA knows there is efficiency and than there is cutting to the bone. People are dying every day because you have cut the safety forces. When is enough enough?
I think the news reporting agencies can really just cut and paste at this point.
A (14-28) year old (black) male was shot and killed on Cleveland East side in the early morning hours today...
never Chinese but there are the same numbers of them. Or Porto Rican or even White males even though there are many more in number. Sooooooooooooo what gives? GW Bush's fault I suppose.
I'll tell you one thing. Why, if it is so dangerous, are people out past 11:00 P.M. ? Want to change your life in just two easy steps? Go to college and or high school and go to bed after 11;)) p.m. like most people do.
BTW, If you ever want to do a story on the worst Kmart in the world or the worst McDonald's in the world you can save yourself some gas money.
THEY ARE BOTH AT WEST 150TH AND lORAIN! RIGHT ACROSS FROM EACH OTHER!
I walked out of the K mart yet again the other day leaving the things I wanted to buy on the counter. I have lost count of how many times I have done this. I seriously think I have like a 33% purchase ratio in that store.
The Mcdonalds across the street? I mean as a joke I would like you and three friends to order something there. I can pretty much guarantee two of the orders will be wrong. Mathematically that is actually an enigma. well, unless they do it on purpose.
This is actually pretty true. Steelyard has more people within two square miles than anywhere else in Ohio. The problem is that those people have never purchased a mirror, it seams, at Walmart.
Forget the classics. A customer walking into the store only to get into the mini SUV and drive it rudely through the store as if they were some kind of war veteran angry about nam or the lady behind the meat counter who looks right at you with no other customers in site for miles. (seriously it is a huge store so I mean for miles) who will simply NOT ask you if you need anything and then act like your rudely interrupted her when you ask if you can have a half pound of Ham.
No, I mean I expect those things to happen anymore. That is Steelcar I say to myself. But the fact that when you try and buy a television or a computer in the back and you watch as two or three people try and work together to sell a customer the latest DVD of BIG Classics and it takes 30 to 40 minutes to check and recheck the card. Take out another card. Check the bar code and do another barcode. It is like living in idiocracy in 4 D.
Presidents Obama and Bush have sang us right into the poor house with the National debt now at about $45,000 per American and rising.
At least when this guy sang to us as we sailed off of a cliff it would sound good.
Seriously I think an uneducated homeless person could not possibly do as much damage as the last 16 years of presidential administrations.
Slavic Village is an interesting issue. it has the Obvious traditional points, a savvy councilman in Broncatelli, 50 million in new investment by Forest City, A great proximity to Cleveland which is growing rapidly and guys like this routing for it.
Then you have Gibs me Dat. While incredibly rude and angry himself you have to wonder why. He is that way because he has dealt, as all of us have, with a terrible cancer in this area. Now don't start with the racist thing because I am not having it. bottom line is that between the low end copper thieves and the high end mortgage thieves Slavic Village got killed and picked to the bones. But, there are a lot of reasons it can thrive and survive.
Your main problem is that geographically it will always be openly connected to financially lower end communities. Even Ohio city has struggled when compared to geographically walled in Tremont. Fix that problem and they will come. Build the newer homes on larger yards with three bedroom homes, add local security and services like snow plowing via a condominium like fee and round out the ends of a few streets so that the only way through Slavic Village is 77 or the end of Fleet and I think you'll have the desired community.
Hmmmm. The city has no money for employee raises even though 750 firefighters are doing 75,000 runs compared to (in 2000) 1050 firefighters doing 50,000 runs. Closing 20% of the firehouses and not hiring until the average age of firefighters was over 51.
But there is money for a 45 million park in front of the casino and new Clark fields and millions in other facelifts. Don't get me wrong, I think these things are great.
But I think this money came from screwing city employees out of cost of living increases.
I am appalled at YOUR total lack of empathy. When did the police become the bad guys?
Why is it that we talk about the bullets fired into the car and not the fact that it wouldn't stop for miles and miles?
Why is it that we focus on the terrible incident of Tamir Rice but not the 125,000 incidents a year where officers stop the worst of our society from causing harm?
I do not know what you do for a living but I'd like to follow you into work and if you were say, a nurse, and you take care of 1000's of patients a year but one day your just not feeling well and you give a patient bad advice or maybe something they are allergic too and its all over the news.
There is no way YOU can comment on these people unless you walk into the situations they do where everyone is lying to them, people are doing unspeakable things to each other every day of the year 24 hours a day.
