Re: “Waiting For Forever: Why All Cleveland Sports Teams are Doomed

Oh Chuckles Chuckles Chuckles.....I LOVE the "Try being a Cubbies fan" argument. You REALL think you have it bad? Is it safe to assume you're a Bulls fan (6 titles; dynasty in the 90's), Bears fan (Super Bowl in '85) and Blackhawks fan (recent Stanley Cup champs) too? Cleveland fans have gone 156 consecutive SEASONS without a title.....longest streak for any City with at least 3 pro sports teams. You, as a Cubbies fan, may be hopeless every spring when the baseball beason kicks off.....what do you think that feels like all year long? Ask a Clevelander. To keep it brief, I can tell ya it ain't fun. Keep lookin for pity....as a Chicagoan, you ain't gonna get it

Re: “Waiting For Forever: Why All Cleveland Sports Teams are Doomed

You're a miserable human being Scott Raab. You're 61 and as clever and mature as the kid who made the Weeden Craigslist ad. Back in August, didn't you predict the Tribe wouldn't make the playoffs? For a Cleveland guy who's in the "know" within the sports world.....nice try and way to be optimistic. I dont necessarily think Lebron is coming back......but why should anyone believe you? If you're such a Cleveland fan/supporter, why not bring your talents (I'll use that term loosely) back here to help support our lackluster economy? You'll write an entire book about Lebron leaving town......but remind us, where do YOU currently reside? Pot, meet Kettle! Your attitude sucks, unfortunately like Cleveland sports history. Maybe if you tried a little optimism, a little positive thinking, that might help to change things around here. But what would you know about "around here", you're an East Coast boy now.
