Clockwork Muzik has been one of the best local studios for years budding so many of these artists who play dirty jones shows they don't see money for just a spot on a little grog shop show like it means anything anymore to people in the hip hop community

Dirty in my eyes has always done his shows w younger people who aren't demanding pay and he can make big profits promoting of the risk comes thru unless it's his team or his older boys. And that is a true statement no shade attached

this isn't to be personal against dirty I have love for him and the help he's given young artists but he's FAR from a reason that keeps US going. WE keep him going. Without us artists he has no place because all we have to do is organize our own shows. Plenty of people have done so. But venues like the grog shop OVER CHARGE the hell out of u unless you're dirty so another example of UNFAIR politics in our city. That's why we all look for outside of Cleveland moves if we want to make our careers go because all the old heads in the city think they have this key that doesn't exist. It's a money scheme to keep us all trapped in a Cleveland loop and be local forever.

so inaccurate about the hip hop scene sure dirty does his thing but I'm not gonna go into the semantics and smear a reputation but there are SO many more groups and collectives in this city working so hard . This was a case of you knowing him vs doing research based on the hip hop scenes opinion. Case Barge is managed by a different person too that is inaccurate. Nice read but this is an example of how "politics" work in our city with music.

Look in The Fader, look in Complex, look in Noisey look to major publications and you can see lots of others working just as hard.

I want to shout out LIFE MGMT specifically they have talent and people making real moves. DK KY is helping boom Lil Crays career and ALL the dope studios in the city that put out quality. I can go on forever.
