Another example of why Ohio has the reputation of being a backward, provincial, low-class, unsophisticated wasteland filled with hicks and yokels. As long as its state bureaucracy clings to medieval policies, the rest of the country will continue to think of Ohio that way. Somewhere, the shade of H.L. Mencken is laughing himself silly at the uncultured Buckeye booboisie.
