A Colorful Character

When: Mon., March 17 2014
An eccentric film collector, Eric Grayson can tell you the difference between Kinemacolor and Technicolor. He's a film geek with an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of celluloid. Tonight at 7:30 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque, he'll impart some of that knowledge as he gives a talk called Color in the Movies. He'll show clips from his personal collection as he explains how the movie color was available years before Wizard of Oz introduced it to the masses. Tickets are $10. (Niesel)
