Air Today

When: Thu., Jan. 30 2014
Weaving the theme of sustainability into an overarching story with accompanying short vignettes, Cleveland Public Theatre’s Air Waves promises to both entertain and inform. The artists involved with the creation of the Element Cycle plays experiment with theatre, devising pieces both bold and audience accessible. Last year's Water Ways and Earth Plays were thoroughly engaging pieces of theater that were simultaneously humorous, sincere and dramatic, with excellent music pieces woven throughout. Directed by Raymond Bobgan, tonight's third part of CPT's Element Cycle will bring more of the same engaging theater. Tomorrow night CPT hosts free beer Fridays. Audience members are given free beer after the show and have the opportunity to chat with the cast and crew. Tickets are $12 to $28, depending on day. All shows start at 7:30 and performances continue through Feb. 15. (Patrick Stoops)
