American Idol concerts are carefully scripted showcases of solo performances and Brady Bunch-type group numbers that merit a "G" rating -- just like on TV. Highlights should be Jennifer Hudson, George Huff, LaToya London, Diana DeGarmo, and of course, 2004 Idol Fantasia. Amy Adams, the first of the 10 to be eliminated, could surprise. Other performers might inspire a visit to the candy counter or the heavily stocked merchandise area.
Last summer's American Idols II tour was one of the hottest tickets in the country. Though there will be no appearance by William Hung -- or Simon Cowell -- this should be the most entertaining AI Live to date.
