One of America’s foremost comedians, Jim Gaffigan makes his appearance at Playhouse Square tonight. While recognized for his roles in films like Away We Go and TV shows like Flight of the Conchords, the comic is arguably best known for his jokes about Hot Pockets and other junk foods. However, his other material and his various character voices offer a witty and often silly insight into American behavior. The show starts tonight at 7:30 in the State Theatre, with a late show at 10 p.m. Tickets are $39.75 to $49.75. (Stoops)
