In honor of Women’s History Month, Sankofa Fine Arts displays works by female African American artists at two branch locations. Clevelanders Monica Stewart, Gina Washington, Lolita Wilson, and nationally recognized painter Annie Lee at CPL’s MLK Branch, 1962 Stokes Blvd. Local artists Garner Lewis, Lorraine Johnson-Davis, and Robin Robinson exhibit works at the Mt. Pleasant branch at 14000 Kinsman Road, along with rare books from playwright Adrienne Kennedy and sculptor Elizabeth Catlett. Both shows run through March 31 at their respective locations.
