On Wednesday July 18th at 7:00 pm, the Beachwood Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library, 25501 Shaker Blvd, is pleased to welcome author James Renner. James is a Northeast Ohio native and author of the acclaimed debut novel "The Man From Primrose Lane", which follows a true crime journalist's investigation of "the man with a thousand mittens". "Punctuated by moments of desperate tenderness, this unusually demanding and grim tale provokes troubling reflections on guilt and innocence, good and evil, revenge and redemption." said Publisher's Weekly in a "starred" review. James has previously released two works of non fiction, "Amy: My Search for Her Killer", about the unsolved murder of Amy Mihaljevic in Bay Village, and "The Serial Killer's Apprentice", a collection of additional local unsolved crimes. Books will be available for signing and purchase courtesy of Macs Backs on Coventry and the Friends of the Library. Please register at the branch page at or by calling 216-831-6868.
