Beyond even LeBron James, the newly resurgent Cavaliers always seemed built in the mold of Carlos Boozer. Where LeBron's game is all about living up to expectations, Boozer's was about exceeding them. He came out of college with minimal odds of pro success: He's too small to play power forward, too nice to mix it up in the paint. But when the flashbulbs went off for each LeBron drive and dunk, it was Boozer who was slaving in the shadows, forging victories with quiet determination. Come to think of it, what is Cleveland itself but a quiet town that gets the job done while the spotlight is always pointing somewhere else? Our reputation stands unblemished, but Boozer can't say the same.
