It's still well before his 20th birthday, and already LeBron has delivered a local-boy-makes-good tale for the ages. Fact is, superstar athletes just don't land in Cleveland, unless it's for a connecting flight. But LeBron, true to his own adolescent proclamation of a year ago, is lighting up the town like a wintry Las Vegas. Overnight, he's transformed Cavalier basketball from a national joke to a national attraction and made youngsters everywhere want Cleveland on their jerseys, Nikes on their feet, Sprite in their mouths, and Juice batteries in their MP3 players. Everybody wants a piece of the Chosen One; here's hoping he chooses to stay right here.
