Best Cleveland Neighborhood

Cedar Fairmount

Nestled next to University Circle (concerts, museums) and Shaker Heights (parks and lakes), this Cleveland Heights neighborhood draws from the best of all three areas to make living here convenient (most things are walkable, if you're of a mind to walk) and fun. The strip of shops along Cedar and Fairmount provides food (both grocery and restaurant), drink, entertainment (Night Town especially), and other necessities. Streets are tree-lined, and houses are well cared for; neighbors speak to each other and bring cookies to newcomers. No wonder residents protect their turf against big-box stores and hasty developers.
