We love posting photos of the Cleveland skyline: Just take a look at our Instagram account. But Northeast Ohio-based Aerial Agents takes that passion to a whole new level — literally. The region's premier aerial photography company, Aerial Agents specializes in piloting state-of-the-art unmanned drones equipped with cameras to capture bird's eye perspectives of local events, landmarks and, yes, the Cleveland skyline.

League Park, the site of the 1920 Cleveland Indians' World Series victory and, nine years later, Babe Ruth's 500th home run, re-opened this summer, some 50-plus years after it first shuttered, as a rehabilitated testament to local baseball culture. Today fans from around the world can visit the original stadium, walk up to an original ticket booth, and celebrate a little slice of local history surrounding America's — and Cleveland's — favorite pastime.

Have you finished Buddhism for Dummies, and you're not sure where to go next? And you certainly don't want to give in to the mass-marketed Far East kitsch for millennials, right? Cloudwater Zendo, a little hole-in-the-wall temple on Puritas, is a really terrific and respectful place for both beginners and long-running Buddhists alike. Mondays at 7 p.m., the zendo runs an Introduction to Zen Meditation class, where prospective learners can fine-tune their approach to zazen and kinhin. The sessions are very welcoming to those who have no idea how any of that works. Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings feature open meditation sessions, with occasional special events filling out the rest of the calendar.

Everyone knows it's a chore to hunker down at work during the summer months, but thankfully there's an extra bout of incentive to pull us through the workweek: Edgewater Live, a free happy hour on the beach every Thursday from June through August. Grab a beer and some grub from a rotating array of local food trucks, and enjoy live tunes from area bands like the Breakfast Club, Whiskey Kings, and Revolution Pie.

A sprawling 285-acre property on the edge of Little Italy on Cleveland's eastside, Lake View Cemetery is one of the most scenic and historically significant landmarks in the city. That's partially why local photographer Barney Taxel spent the past 14 years exploring and documenting the century-old grounds, ultimately publishing a robust tribute to the cemetery's permanent residents, monuments, and natural setting.

There's nothing quite like tuning into WMMS and hearing that the Cleveland Clinic's own Dr. Ryan Berglund will be hanging out with Alan Cox and the gang. Now we can all figure out what that cyst really is! The afternoon show features all sorts of great recurring guests (Sal being a nice runner-up here), but the bits with Berglund showcase the blend of educational wit and entertaining insight that Cox has curated so well here in Cleveland. Berglund, a urologist, answers questions about the male anatomy during "Is It Red?" The monthly routine sees all sorts of pearly penile papule-related trivia and humor, as well as genuine medical tips. Obamacare can't hold a candle to calling into WMMS on a sunny Cleveland afternoon.

It's the wrist band that replaces all your security keys and passwords! It's the stylish accessory that has military-grade gadgetry beneath the surface! It's the bluetooth to end all bluetooths! It's Everykey! And it was developed right here in Cleveland, Ohio, by Case students. Retailing for about $100, the Everykey lets you access all your devices and locked websites whenever you're nearby, and it's becoming increasingly necessary as passwords become increasingly complex and convoluted, and cyber security becomes ever more stringent and sanctified. Cleveland might not be the next Silicon Valley, but bright minds like Everykey's young CEO Chris Wentz remind us that Cleveland can be a hub for innovation and high-tech ideas.

With views of bustling downtown Lakewood (ignore the Burger King, please) and a bountiful variety of seating arrangements and beverages, the Root Cafe affords the introspective writer an excellent midday getaway. There's enough coffee-shop white noise to keep the mind buzzing while still allowing someone to find a quiet nook for the afternoon. Not only does the place serve some of the best (fair trade) coffee in the area, these cats also have a brilliant organic bakery on site. Try something different, expand your palate, then tuck your nose back into that journal and continue fretting over your near-constant state of writer's block. At the very least, the coffee will keep your mind from imploding over that terrifying blank page before you.
