Let’s be frank: Most Happy Hour food isn’t worth eating. And if it is, it’s probably no bargain. If a place really wants to entice people to come in during off hours, it needs to come guns blazing with a combination of quality, variety and value. Grove Hill had us at half-price oysters — but only because we trust this Chagrin Falls restaurant when it comes to its seafood. But they don’t stop there. Steamed mussels with sweet sausage? Five bucks. Smoked baby back ribs with slaw? Five bucks. Pulled pork sliders? Five bucks. Crispy fries with malt vinegar and aioli? Two bucks. Domestic beers? Two bucks. See where we’re going with this? Grove Hill, that’s where.
