By whatever method you measure ice cream, Mitchell's is the cream of Cleveland's crop. Pete and Mike Mitchell scour the globe for the finest ingredients, yielding the most richly flavored, decadent stuff around: A scoop of chocolate goes down like a frozen truffle; Key lime pie actually comes with crust. (And no excuses: Even the fat-free sorbets are sublime.) But if there's one thing more satisfying than Mitchell's ice cream, it's the company's recent growth rate: A second location popped up in Solon last year, and a third debuted this summer in Rocky River.
