Best Morning DJ

Rover, WTXM-FM 92.3

Sure, he's not quite as witty as Howard Stern, but when's the last time the King of All Media talked about Parma? Rover brings a wry, if adolescent, sensibility to the morning commute, whether the subject is George W. Bush or just, well, bush. This Chicago transplant has been warmly embraced by his adopted home, as evidenced by all the "Cleveland Loves You!" calls he gets every day. Love him or hate him, he's shaking up local radio, which for too long has coasted on memories of the halcyon days of stuffing ballot boxes to win the Rolling Stone readers' poll.
